The El Paso Museum of Art (EPMA) is proud to collaborate with the El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) for their first student exhibition at the museum. This group exhibition showcases the creativity and vision of high school artists representing Austin, Bowie, Burges, Coronado, El Paso, Franklin, Irvin and Transmountain Early College High Schools.

42 students were selected by their respective instructors to participate in this exhibition. As part of the program, students gathered at EPMA to learn about the museum, curatorial practices, tour the Museum’s collection and learn about various careers within the arts from staff. The works on view reflect the diverse perspectives, creativity, and personal and cultural experiences of the artists.

This exhibition is part of an ongoing series of community spotlights celebrating creative youth in the Borderland.
