Join us on January 25th at noon, and indulge in the harmonious notes of the “Bach’s Lunch Performance,” featuring the extraordinary pianists Dominic Dousa and Nayeli Dousa.

Dominic Dousa, hailing from Rochester, Minnesota, has been a distinguished member of the University of Texas at El Paso Department of Music faculty since 2004. With degrees in music from Ball State University, Central Michigan University, Harvard University, and statistics from Iowa State University, his compositions have resonated globally, being performed in the U.S. and 11 countries. Notably, his chamber music has been acclaimed by Blue Griffin Recording, receiving praise from Gramophone Magazine and American Record Guide.

Joining him is the accomplished Nayeli Dousa, who joined the UTEP Music Department faculty in 2019. Holding a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Piano Performance, her expertise extends to music theory, and her doctoral dissertation delves into the captivating piano music of Mexican composer Samuel Zyman. Nayeli’s rich background includes teaching at the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, where she also served as a rehearsal pianist for the operas Pagliacci and Cavalleria Rusticana.
